He Took 30 YEARS To Surrender | Hiroo Onoda
On the 26th of December 1944, Hiroo Onoda would be sent to the Lubang (lu-bung) Island in the Philippines with orders to do everything in his power to stop the advancing Americans.
When he landed, it was understood that under no circumstances were the soldiers allowed to take their own life or surrender to the enemy. With these orders and his commitment to the cause, Hiroo Onoda would engage in guerilla warfare for close to thirty years after World War Two ended.
During this time, all efforts to convince Hiroo the war was over would fail. Hiroo believed Japan would never surrender and defeat was only possible when the last Japanese person had been killed. This is the story of Hiroo Onoda, ...

I heard of an incident where a grey nomad couple died in their sleep in their caravan, after they supposedly forgot to turn their LPG cooking gas off. I assume it happened in one of the Pilliga's rest stops. I drove through there once and it was ok, apart from similar grey nomads with caravans going shit slow in front.

As a daily pot smoker who took a couple college classes on this topic, doing heroin once will ruin your life. PLEASE safe yourself and do not touch it. While I cannot confidently say there are safe drugs, marijuana is the safest. You can still become dependent on it, especially if struggling with mental health issues, but it certainly won't destroy you like heroin will. Heroin is essentially synthetic opioids, which are already dangerous on their own, and the synthetic stuff can have god knows what in it. Take care of yourselves everyone! <3

When i was in active addiction everytine ny friends would ask to try it, id get mad at them and tell them is better to live in ignorance than to dive into that hell hole just to experience it or understand addiction, opioids are fucking hell .

Hey, great video! Thank you for summarising the posts instead of spending 2 hours reading every single post and reply. There's a time for 2 hour videos and sometimes its nice to get the full story in 14 mins. we dont need to know every single detail to get the idea of what happened nor do we need to be read every single snarky reply. This is the first video I've seen from you, i found your channel by searching the reddit users name. ill be subscribing and going through your archive to see what else you've got. thanks!

8:30 This guys story has some red flags for being just that, a 'story'... To start with, he details the story with such details and specifics which is a classic red flag for liars, they do this to make you feel like "Oh yeah its so specific, it must be true or why would the story be so vivid", But also at the same time, he doesnt even know where the farm was, but he's talking about "right turn on this path" and "trees either side" etc. He doesnt know where this 'friends uncles farm is' cos he is just a sad loser with no life living in Sydney somewhere lol and had never heard of the Pilliga up until his 20th thousand hour of watching youtube cos he has no life lol... so cos he is unhappy, he is looking for any community to be a part of and but he has nothing to offer any community cos he is a sad loser.. so he fabricates nonsense to feel like he's a part of some community lol... Its classic 'No lifer' behaviour. He is using very dramatic language which you would only do if youre trying to emphasis something or distract someone from any doubtful thinking, "From the corner of my eye, i seen something ill never forget"... LITERALLY sounds like how you would read a good fiction story mate like cmon, so dramatic. A branch the thickness of a mans forearm? bro my forearms are like 70mm height and 50mm width, in terms of wood thats like as thick as a baseball bat, and youre trying to telling me you think it wouldnt hold a 6 year old girl, she probably weighs 10kg mate, i could throw her 20 foot for fuck sake, absolute dribble of a story lol. Its cocksuckers like this who ruin the stories of the people who have actually seen stuff...

Sorry to say but Reddit is mostly a cesspit, I hate that place. Not had a good interaction with anyone on there, ask a question and you get called stupid by 20 people. Only times I had any good interaction was when I showed off my characters in games in the fashion subreddits. However usually the fashion subreddit pages tied to games like rdr2 and other games are unusually wholesome and supportive. David deserved better such a tragedy, can relate to it a lot.

Heroin attaches to opiate receptors in your brain, causing an enormous release of dopamine, which is why the drug is so crazy addictive. Dopamine is literally there to make you repeat a behavior. Don't think you can try meth or heroin just once without an iron will.

That alleged picture of The Pilliga Princess is totally wrong. She looked nothing like that. She was a short slight lady, perhaps 5 ft tall, long straight blonde hair. She favoured a wide brim straw hat usually and was often wearing a blue/white Miller shirt or a blue/white flannel shirt. Most times she wore faded blue jeans. The was slim and at a glance appeared quite young, and it was always a surprise when she drew near to you that you realised she was actually getting on a bit. As it turns out, she was 55 years old when she passed. She certainly didn’t look 55.
